How does my ‘shop the look’ E-design service work?

The Olivia Ruckley Interior Design unique shop the look service aims to give you time back. I will ensure your home is designed to suit the needs of you and your family and is as functional as it is beautiful, so how does it work?

Salisbury project

Initial consultation

I will spend time getting to know you and your family, your likes and dislikes, your interests and your plans. We’ll chat about interiors too and look at plenty of images so I can get to know your style, your favourite brands, colours and discover whether there’s any existing furniture that you’d like to incorporate into your scheme too.

Measure up

If you’re local to East Sussex, Kent or Surrey I will be able to come and measure up your rooms, but if you’re further away then with a little guidance you can send over the main measurements.

Floorplan and Moodboard

Olivia Ruckley Interior Design will provide a scaled floorplan detailing everything from furniture positions to switches & sockets, lighting and radiator placement to ensure a thought-out and well-functioning scheme. Having gained an understanding of your tastes and discussed interior styles, I will also present you with a moodboard at this stage to show my initial ideas. We’ll work together and can make changes until you’re happy with your final scheme.

Shop the look

Once we’ve finalised your moodboard I will create a shopping list visual with clickable links so you can simply order everything to create your desired look. Where applicable, I will also be able to help save you money with trade discounts.

Along with this I will send a detailed guide to be presented to your builders and decorators to ensure everything is fitted as it should be. This will include everything from tile layouts and grout colours, to flooring requirements and what colours to paint in each room.
